Fe Angelo, the solo developer who makes games as 2dchaos, shared a new clip from NECHROMIA on Oct. 16 showing the player stepping into one of the game's paintings. The game is in development for Windows, macOS and Linux, with ZNT Productions listed as its publisher on Steam. Watch the teaser trailer below.

NECHROMIA is a single-player survival horror game drawn in high contrast: flat black against white, red, yellow, and blue. According to its Steam page, the player is trapped in a gothic castle "made of memories that aren't yours," armed only with a lantern used for combat, puzzles, and exploration. Staying in lit areas preserves sanity. Paintings hung throughout the castle each lead to a separate world "shaped by sin," where the player claims the abilities needed to escape. The page lists multiple endings.
Steam lists the release date as "To be announced" and hosts one teaser trailer. Angelo released a first demo on itch.io in September 2025, and in the announcement post described the game as dealing with "themes of queerness, sacrifice, solitude and fear."
