The crop is flesh in Berrysoft’s CORPSE FARM
A farming sim wears the cozy genre’s exact visual manners, only it's skin
Tidy plots, a farmhouse, an item shop, a watering routine. The crop is meat. CORPSE FARM, an unreleased “horror farming simulator” from solo developer Berrysoft Games, sits on Steam as a wishlist page—“grow and harvest humanoid creatures to appease your god,” due Q3 2026—and the announcement reel sparked some, um, interesting reactions.

That’s the finding: cozy is no longer a mood, it’s a grammar—codified enough that you can pour anything into it and the the container won't break When we called Ooblets the cutest farming game we’d yet to play back in 2016, cozy was still an emergent flavor. A decade later the conventions are legible enough to parody at a glance.
