Scrapeboard is a fighting game by Blake Andrews and Frank DeMarco, played with a real skateboard deck. Players slide the deck between metal pads on the floor, matching an onscreen opponent's footwork to block a sword before it falls. It began with an object: Tony Hawk sent an original deck to a Babycastles installation, and the pair built a fighting game around it instead of selling it.

On Tuesday, Oct. 6, the game returns to Wonderville, the Bushwick arcade bar, for a night of rhythm and dance games, per the bar's announcement. Play opens at 7 p.m., and Andrews and DeMarco run a Scrapeboard tournament at 9. Every arcade game on the floor is free to play.

Two rhythm games share the night: Young Cathedral by Common Opera and Sound of Smog: Neo Delhi by Pariah Interactive. Wonderville's own Step Right Up!, an animatronic Zoltar machine rebuilt with vector graphics, sits in the room year round.
