PASSPHRASE, a game by Dmytro Tentiuk, Demi van Kuijk, Erwin Hoogerwoord, Emily W. Bernstein and Anneke ter Schure, showed on September 18 at [untitled games event], the monthly experimental games series at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. A modular edition is now playable in the browser at passphrase.fun.

The game opens as a TikTok-style voice challenge. Players are invited to give their voice away, then challenged to beat the system and claim it back. The team describes its subject as the gap between holding rights over personal data and understanding what a voice can become inside systems of power.

The five makers work across installation, moving image, sound, creative coding, radio and research. They built the game as part of IMPACT CODE 2026.

The September 18 evening was the first weekender edition of [untitled games event], a monthly series the organizers run along the lines of a book club for experimental games. More than 10 works showed alongside PASSPHRASE, including Lucas Lugarinho's Ghost Rococó and Grinding Choices, a gamebook about Axie Infinity by Nestor Siré and Steffen Köhn. The series posts its programs at untitledgamesevent.nl.
