Name of the Will's daylight cult reaches a playable demo
Zeitgeist Studio's masked compliance horror joined Fellow Traveller's Official Selection ahead of a Q1 2027 release from HYPER REAL.
Of all the ominous names for a cult, HOPE is truly diabolical. It is a place of intense microobservation where every thought and smile is tallied. NAME OF THE WILL (集體後遺症) pins you to its walls: each day finds you at work on the quotidian, diligently doing your tasks. But at night you are free to explore the 34 floors to hack terminals and figure out exactly what the Benevolent Father is up to.

Zeitgeist Studio's hand-drawn adventure made the Official Selection at last month's LudoNarraCon, Fellow Traveller's narrative-games festival, which ran on Steam from Oct. 8 to 12 with 50 games in the program. It also meant that the demo is up now, ahead of a Q1 2027 release from publisher HYPER REAL.
When we looked the game at gamescom in August, the hook was a cult that grades your smile. LudoNarraCon points the game toward a narrative class where observation builds the outline of an engrossing story.
