Watch Bruno Abib's Death in August [Members Only]

I've got something a little bit different this week. As you probably suspect, I take a very expansive view of games as a form of culture, which means it extends to different mediums: dance, design, theater, and, of course, cinema.

Filmmaker Bruno Abib reached out to me to take a look at his 2023 short film Morte em Agosto (Death in August), which follows a group of friends responding to the loss of one of their own. Some lead a revolt, and another looks for solace in GTA: San Andreas. 

I asked him whether or not he'd be open to screening it as something for members only. He thankfully said yes. Unlike in previous weeks, when I withheld the game's title, you know what it is, and we've got a viewing for members below.
