The police car of the future is fit for Arkham City.

Motorola, the same people who brought you such classics as the RAZR and Robby Gordon’s NASCAR car, is hard at work at the next generation of police technology. Their redesign of the police car gives it voice recognition, automatic license plate recognition, remote access to computer systems, and maybe even infrared goggles. It’s all going to add up to a police car that won’t let you as much as sneeze in front of it without running some recognition software on you.
Gizmodo has the full report, but it raises the question of whether or not this sort of technology is necessary. Like, this feels like something Batman would have in Arkham City or something. Oh well. Good luck, Winston Smith.
