Kalp Studio's Raahi casts you as Sandy, an auto rickshaw driver making a life in a 1990s Goan town. You pick up passengers and hear the stories they tell along the way, fish off the coast, help out at a dhaba, collect cassettes and upgrade the rickshaw, with a racing championship there if you want it. The game is unreleased, with no date on its Steam page, so the studio's stop at Playable Panjim is a chance to drive it early.

Playable Panjim is the arcade strand of Emergence, a three-day Festival of Future Cities in Panaji presented by the research collective Transitions Research. Made with Storiculture, the arcade gathers existing games, simulations and interactive work about mobility, climate, housing, ecology, energy and public space, picked around questions facing Panaji itself. A game that sees an entire town from a rickshaw seat fits the brief.
The rest of the festival spreads across the city, from Kala Academy to the Goa State Central Library. At Sunaparanta, the arcade shares the building with Scorched, an exhibition on heat made with Asar, and an exhibition on wetlands with Biopod+Co. Killscreen went deep on Raahi earlier this year in "The Long Way Around."
