It started for me with the news. When I understood that the news was a story and a story always had bias and a point of view, that’s when I started trying to tell my own stories. I wanted to be a cinema director because I believed—I still believe—that stories have the power to change things.

When Lionhead UK approached me about Project Milo, I was focused on directing television and film. My lack of game experience was an asset to them because they were looking for new perspectives on story and character.
