Gaming Club: Pocket Boss with Mario von Rickenbach
Thirty minutes with Mario von Rickenbach on Pocket Boss, the game where you lie with charts to get promoted. Monday, September 21 at 9 a.m. Pacific. Members only.
The game is Pocket Boss (2025) by Mario von Rickenbach. If you read the Playlist a few weeks back, you know the setup: your boss texts you at all hours ("You up?"), and your job is to drag, pinch and pump bad business data into shapes that will keep them happy. Shareholder value is a mess, so you rejigger the dots until it's always rising. You get promoted for it.
Here's how I put it then:
It's only a little fudge, you might say as you unfragment your customer base. But behind that little action, a world of malfeasance awaits.
