Horror lives in what you hear before what you see. For Cross-Conversations: Horror, Killscreen puts someone from horror film in conversation with someone from horror games, and this session starts with sound.

Ryan Holladay co-scored Weapons and this year's Resident Evil film. Jason Graves scored Dead Space, Until Dawn and Still Wakes the Deep, where he built his own metal instrument to make the score. Together they'll talk about scoring fear for a screen versus scoring it for a player: what changes when the audience holds the controller, and the player, not the edit, decides when the scare lands.

Tuesday, October 13, 10 to 11am PT (1pm ET, 6pm UK). Free and online, moderated by Jamin Warren, and recorded for replay. Register below and your join link will appear on this page.
