Omega Mart Announces Omega Dayze, Shares Teaser
Meow Wolf's surreal supermarket stages its in-fiction holiday as a live spectacle, online and in person at Area15.

Omega Mart, Meow Wolf's supermarket-shaped art installation in Las Vegas, holds Omega Dayze on Wednesday, Nov. 18, a live online and in-person spectacle broadcast from the store at 5 p.m. PT. The announcement reel plays the news as in-fiction television: a breaking-news bulletin reports "unusual activity in Plenty Valley," and a chyron warns that the Bloom of the Elder Zalg is imminent. The announcement promises product drops, "special" guests, games about groceries and groceries about games, and "more surprises than a daikon conga line." Viewers can RSVP for reminders at omegadayze.com, and anyone can submit a review of an Omega Mart product for a chance to be part of the show.
Omega Mart is Meow Wolf's permanent Las Vegas installation at Area15, which the company describes as a surreal grocery store selling bizarre products, with hidden portals and secret rooms behind the aisles. The event runs online and in person; the in-person side happens at the store.
Omega Dayze is the store's own invented holiday, and the fiction stays intact in the marketing: Meow Wolf bills itself as merely the sponsor of its own supermarket's celebration.
