New PBS Game/Show asks if there will always be violent videogames

Bashing games for videogame violence is a time-honored tradition for the last thirty years. But if we look at the long history of games, we find something, well, consistent. We have a history of violence–but that’s ok. I take the longview, quote Steven Pinker, and explain why robbing, shooting, and stealing isn’t everything we’ve cracked it up to be.
