Tatyana Zambrano and Hernán Rodríguez's *Bunker for a Tropical Pixel* (2026) is on view at Le Grenier à sel in Avignon through Jan. 16, 2027, in the group exhibition (Dé)jouer les mondes. The game is set in a post-tropical world where the sun is gone, and hybrid life has taken over; the player is a tiny creature crossing three worlds modeled on the red, green, and blue of the RGB pixel. Zambrano writes that post-tropical games "could explore new ways of imagining tropical environments, where technology, ecology, and human activity are interconnected." The curators HERVISIONS, who showed it in Stigmergy at the National Communication Museum, call it "a cinematic game" in which "tropical bio-bacteria become the planet's final source of illumination." Made in a residency at the Museu do Amanhã under the EU-funded S+T+ARTS Buen-TEK program, it is free to play online.

Isabelle Arvers and Véronique Baton co-curated the exhibition, which [Le Grenier à sel](https://legrenierasel-avignon.fr/dejouer-les-mondes?ref=killscreen.com) presents as artists using video games for critical experimentation and poetic subversion. Also showing are Akwasi Bediako Afrane, Atelier ElonM, Agnès de Cayeux, Ismaël Joffroy Chandoutis, Lucas Lugarinho, Camilo Sandoval and Afrah Shafiq, whose interactive story game *The Bride Who Could Not Stop Crying* is included.

The duo has worked together since 2021; their *Banana Valley* (2022) won first prize at the Enjambre festival in Cali, Colombia, according to [S+T+ARTS](https://starts.eu/what-we-do/residences/starts-buen-tek-homepage/tatyana-zambrano-hernan-rodriguez/?ref=killscreen.com).
