A recent innovation in sex education has interesting possibilities for social innovation in the U.S., *The New York Times* [reports](http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/31/us/sex-education-for-teenagers-online-and-in-texts.html?%5Fr=1&ref=technology):

Through [Hookup](http://www.teensource.org/ts/hookup?ref=killscreen.com), California teenagers can text their ZIP codes to a number and receive locations for health clinics.

The problem? If regulating public education is so difficult, regulating online sources can’t be much easier. As one Planned Parenthood official put it, “How do I write content that says ‘sex’ 80,000 times so our page will pop up in a kid’s search on Google near the top?”
