Luggage maker Rimowa released a short campaign film starring Hideo Kojima on Oct. 21, posted to Instagram as [a joint reel from the brand and Kojima](https://www.instagram.com/p/DewJHPRCbze/?ref=killscreen.com). The roughly one-minute film was directed by Otman Qrita. Rimowa's caption calls Kojima "a master storyteller" and singles out his use of motion capture "to bring actors' performances and emotion into his games."

The film follows Kojima through a studio and along city streets with a Rimowa case in hand, cutting between close shots of the luggage and Kojima at work with collaborators. In the voiceover he talks about working with performers and how ideas come to him.

The caption ties the campaign to *OD - Knock*, the horror project Kojima Productions is making with Xbox Game Studios. During Xbox's Tokyo Game Show broadcast in September, Kojima showed behind-the-scenes footage of Sophia Lillis and Hunter Schafer in performance capture and said production was moving on schedule. The game has no release date.

Rimowa is the latest luxury house to put Kojima in front of a camera. Prada developed Satellites II, the 14th edition of its Prada Mode series, with Kojima and director Nicolas Winding Refn for the Hotel Chelsea in New York this summer, following a first Satellites exhibition at Prada Aoyama in Tokyo in 2025\.
