The Kickstarter campaign for *Radio The Universe* seems to defy all the conventions of the crowd-funding site. There’s no dialogue in the video, there’s no name for the creator, and the pitch adds this amazing bullet about gameplay: “Players who die in-game die in real life.” That seems a little bit severe, but, hey man, art is painful.

Nonetheless, *Radio* is a stylized little number, pulling strong cues from *Blade Runner* while maintaing some of the RPG tropes that made *Secret of Mana* so compelling. It’s already funded five times over so at this point, we’re just waiting for the damn thing.
