Mass Effect was the subject of a lot of “videogames have arrived as a storytelling medium” claptrap over the past five years, and with good reason. The game had nuance and great characterization, fully-realized plotlines, and despite the [protestations of thousands of ungrateful and petulant jerks](http://www.gamepur.com/news/7498-fan-file-lawsuit-over-mass-effect-3-ending.html?ref=killscreen.com) who apparently did not appreciate getting hundreds of hours of entertainment, a decent ending.

So what better way to celebrate one of the few games that has a seat at the grownup table than by releasing… an anime?
