Joe Sabia’s quick [TED Talk](http://www.ted.com/talks/joe%5Fsabia%5Fthe%5Ftechnology%5Fof%5Fstorytelling.html?ref=killscreen.com) on technology’s influence on storytelling skips over videogames. Obviously this isn’t the first time it’s happened, videogames are often not very respected as a storytelling medium, but they should at least garner a mention. Even when the games themselves don’t have magnificent stories, they do give us stories to tell. We get to experience games with others, giving us new memories and inside jokes, stories of miscontrol and perfect execution that are just as valuable as the plot of any novel.
