For the aspiring and actual musicians out there who are offended by Guitar Hero, the digital realm has not failed you. Enter the iTar, a guitar and iPad hybrid device that emulates a real instrument-playing experience. Though the device is still in its formative stages on [Kickstarter](http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/starrlabs/itar-turn-your-ipad-into-a-guitar?ref=killscreen.com), it would let you play everything from the drums to synthesizer to just plain old guitar, effectively making you your own band.

There are a handful of interesting trends around iPads and music, but the iTar seems the most comprehensive and closest to, you know, a real instrument.
