So, just how big is “bigger than *RDR*, *San Andreas*, and *GTA IV*“?

According to highly scientific internet forums, *Red Dead Redemption* is 28 square miles, *San Andreas* is 13.6 square miles, and *GTA IV* is 6.8 square miles. This puts us at a grand total of 48.4 square miles. Manhattan Island is 23 square miles. So, yes, *GTA V* will be twice the size of IRL Manhattan.

That’s PRETTY big. Now a lot of people will tell you size matters. But we here at Kill Screen have always abided by the mantra that the size of your map is not as important as the motion of your avatar.
