The [Cybersentics (little) Library](https://grayarea.org/event/cybersentics-little-library-launch/?ref=killscreen.com) opened Aug. 20, 2026, at Gray Area in San Francisco.

It is a small, growing collection on art, science, technology and society. The shelves hold books, magazines, kits, records and gadgets. Scholar and curator Anastasia Chernysheva hosts it.

The launch ran from 6 to 8 p.m. at 2665 Mission St. Visitors browsed the shelves, pitched items for the collection and swapped books or electronics worth up to $100.

The collection grew out of the Cybersentics Book Club, a monthly reading group on biofeedback, cyborg theory and the human sensorium.

The library is still open. It is free, and requests to visit, borrow or donate go through [the library page](https://grayarea.org/cybersentics-little-library/?ref=killscreen.com).

*Disclosure: Gray Area is Killscreen's fiscal sponsor.*
