An interactive exhibit designed by Usman Haque and showcased at [Specialmoves](http://specialmoves.com/home/diy-city?ref=killscreen.com) aims to “empower people to reconfigure their city.” Using an array of projectors, phones, and laptops, [DIY City 0.01a](http://www.creativeapplications.net/scripts/diy-city-0-01a-hijacking-the-courtyard-at-specialmovers-usman-haque-research/?ref=killscreen.com) is an “experiment between two independent interactive specialists who are keen to push the boundaries of crowd-sourced interactivity.”

> What we made was essentially a mobile interface that allowed people to create sprites that were projected onto the walls of our courtyard space here at Specialmoves HQ. People could not only design but manipulate their own creations. The night was really great fun and people told us they could see bags of potential for taking this prototype to the next level.
