The [RoboCup Japan Open](http://www.robocup.or.jp/2011JP%5FOPEN%5F1/index%5Feng.htm?ref=killscreen.com) is a tournament for robots where they play soccer and apparently show each other photos of their WAGs. Above is Hajime Robot 31, a humanoid creation from the [Chiba Institute of Technology](http://www.it-chiba.ac.jp/english/?ref=killscreen.com) 1m tall weighs just 5kg and comes with 17 joints.

I look forward to the day when Americans can complain about how they’d be so much better at robo-soccer if they weren’t diverting their best ones to other sports like football and killing terrorists from the sky.
