Apple revealed the latest iteration of their [niche, hard-to-use, confusing and unpopular smartphone](http://www.theverge.com/2012/9/12/3316830/iphone-5-release-date-specs-features-price-announcement?ref=killscreen.com) in San Francisco today, and there are a few takeaways for the small and elite handful of computer hackers that will use the iPhone 5 to play games:

1\. A bigger screen means games will appear bigger.

2\. A processor upgrade means double the speed of the CPU, according to Apple, resulting in twice-as-fast graphics.

A VP from EA, on stage at the presentation, said the iPhone will [boast “full console quality” graphics](http://www.edge-online.com/news/iphone-5-revealed-full-console-quality-graphics-promised?ref=killscreen.com), although he failed to mention which console.
