Before it has a website, NIGHT EYE TV has a TV guide. The upcoming platform has spent the last few weeks introducing itself through the [NIGHT EYE TV GUIDE BOOK](https://bsky.app/profile/nighteye-tv.bsky.social/post/3mvnicekpwk2n?ref=killscreen.com), square pages set in a serif over lobby-wallpaper diamonds, and through a featured-contributor slot: alpha\_rats first, then Vinny Roca, and—in [the reel that crossed my feed](https://www.instagram.com/p/DdjIEJ2lsJK/?ref=killscreen.com)—pickpanpuck.

The site will run short-form content that advertises contributors' larger works, which will be available for purchase and download. That is, more or less, what broadcast television always was—programming as a shopfront for the thing being sold—except the thing being sold here is experimental art that arrives as a file and runs on your machine. "Experimental art after dark, coming soon," reads an earlier post, and the whole project has that flavor: public-access aesthetics applied to the executable-art space between games and net art.

The infrastructure for this work keeps thickening: last month we covered [The Little Database's expansion into a desktop directory](https://www.killscreen.com/the-little-database-expands-into-a-desktop-directory/). Executable art already has its archives and its directories. Now, apparently, it gets a television station.
